Welcoming ITV Meridian to Seal Primary School Community Farm
Back
What a cracking two days at Seal Primary!
Yesterday, we welcomed ITV Meridian News to the school to meet our newborn lambs. We also introduced the crew to Mr Gippy, Seal's very own trainee therapy pig! Not many school farms have therapy animals and we jumped at the change of telling them more about how our friendly farm animals are helping children, not just at Seal but across all of the Inspire Academy Movement schools.
The film piece was transmitted last night on ITV X.
We also welcomed Cllr Roddy Hogarth, Sevenoaks District Council Official, and Cllr Chris Haslam from Seal Parish Council to Seal Primary School. They were keen to have a cuddles with the lambs, and find out more on how we use the farm and the benefits it has on our children, including school refusers.
