September 2025 Update!
What a brilliant buzz around school this week, the new academic year is off to a flying start!
Children have settled quickly, shown excellent behaviour, and worked together to create their Class Charters.
Reception explored the school, met friendly faces, and got to grips with routines and expectations.
Year 1 kicked off their 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' topic with inspired play and a fun fitness session led by a professional coach.
Year 2 were thrilled by a visit from Miss Spellman – and her chicken! They asked thoughtful questions as they explored food chains in their 'Circle of Life' experience.
Year 3 watched 'The Lighthouse' clip, discussing characters and how suspense builds in storytelling.
Year 4 began working on spreadsheets to help track their times tables progress.
Year 5 launched into 'Secrets of the Sands', learning about Ancient Egypt’s civilisation, beliefs, and religion.
Year 6 became 'Detectives of Light', investigating how light travels and making their own periscopes.
What a fantastic start — we can't wait to see all the learning adventures that lie ahead this term.
